Composed Pair Westley Richards 12 Ga Boxlock Ejector 28" Barrels
Regarded as one of the pinnacle achievements in British gunmaking, the Westley Richards hand-detachable lock represents an enduring benchmark of mechanical ingenuity and refined balance. Built in the United Kingdom in 1960, this versatile 12-gauge side-by-side pair exemplifies the storied maker's tradition of uncompromising craftsmanship and robust engineering.
This composed pair is stocked in finely figured walnut with classic straight English grips and right-hand cast, displaying honest handling wear alongside a noted repair at the toe on Gun 2. Both actions retain crisp mechanics and ejector timing, complemented by an invaluable documented service history detailing the pair's maintenance and provenance.
Both guns feature 30-inch barrels with 2 ½-inch chambers choked Improved Cylinder and Full, locking up tight and perfectly on the face. The set is securely housed in an original wood & leather double case with fabric travel cover.
