Produced in 1907, the Imperial Sidelock Ejector represents the pinnacle of H. J. Hussey’s craft, standing as the premier model from an esteemed London maker of exceedingly limited output. Built upon a classic side-by-side sidelock action, this 12-gauge was engineered to deliver exceptional balance, refined handling, and versatile performance.

This rare piece remains in exceptional condition, showcasing a carefully preserved golden-brown straight English walnut stock with crisp checkering across the grip, splinter fore-end, and butt. The 28-inch barrels retain 95% of their bluing with only isolated mild surface corrosion on a small section of the right tube, handsomely accented by best-quality English rose & scroll engraving, "Imperial Ejector" on the receiver underside, and the maker's New Bond Street address along the tapered rib.

Mechanically, the break action remains tight on the face, with the ejectors firing crisply and the automatic safety operating smoothly. Configured with traditional double triggers, a silver bead front sight, and 2½-inch chambers, this historic British sidelock is ready for presentation or continued use.
