Crafted in Italy by B. Rizzini for storied London gunmaker Cogswell & Harrison, the Optimum pairs classical British proportions with refined Italian engineering. Engineered for versatile performance, this 12-gauge over-and-under platform features 30-inch barrels with 3-inch chambers proofed for modern steel shot.

Presented in mint, as-new condition, this 2018 example showcases a coin-finished receiver adorned with full-coverage, deep-relief floral scroll engraving that extends seamlessly onto the top lever and trigger guard. The metalwork is paired with high-grade walnut furniture boasting intense figure, a classic Prince of Wales grip, and a solid tapered rib running 10 mm to 8 mm.

The action locks up vault-tight with strong, properly timed ejectors and a crisp single selective trigger. This shotgun comes complete with its luxury fitted hard case, five interchangeable screw-in choke tubes, and the original protective fabric sleeves.
