Crafted in Spain by Aguirre & Aranzabal, the AYA No. 4 boxlock ejector has earned an enduring reputation among sportsmen for pairing traditional British-inspired architecture with dependable Basque gunmaking. Chambered for 3-inch .410 shells with a solid concave rib, this lightweight side-by-side was conceived as an exquisitely balanced and nimble upland game gun.

This 1980 example presents in remarkable, little-used condition, displaying rich, vibrant color case hardening across the receiver complemented by a straight-grip dark walnut stock with right-hand cast. The stock incorporates a tastefully executed 2 ⅜-inch wood extension terminating in a checkered butt, achieving a 14 ⅝-inch length of pull over 12 ¼ inches to wood while maintaining an agile weight of just 5 lbs 4 oz.

Mechanically, the action locks up tight on the face and features an automatic safety, strong selective ejectors, and a rare single trigger configuration. With 27 ¼-inch barrels choked Full and Full, this petite firearm transitions effortlessly from fine upland shooting to clay and skeet targets.
