The Beretta 686 EL represents a distinguished chapter in the storied maker's history, elevating the proven reliability of the 680-series boxlock action with fully engraved sideplates. Renowned for its natural pointability and low-profile receiver, this 20-gauge over-and-under serves as an exceptionally versatile companion.

Dating to 1985, this particular unit remains in overall excellent condition, showcasing well-preserved wood stock work with a pistol grip and a subtle, nearly neutral right-hand cast. The 28-inch barrels feature mirror-bright bores choked fixed Cylinder on the bottom and Modified on top, coming together at an agile total weight of 5 lbs 15 ½ oz.

Mechanically, the action locks up tight on the trunnions with strong, crisp ejection. This shotgun comes complete and protected in an authentic Beretta hard case.
