Manufactured in the United Kingdom in 1930, this classic 12-gauge boxlock side-by-side shotgun exemplifies the enduring quality and understated elegance of traditional British gunmaking. Configured with 30-inch barrels, a single trigger, and 2 ½-inch chambers, it offers an exceptionally balanced and versatile shooting platform.

This example is in exceptional condition, retaining roughly 98% of its barrel bluing alongside 98% vivid case-color hardening across the receiver. The straight-hand English walnut stock features an expertly executed extension measuring 14 ¼ inches to the wood and 15 ⅛ inches to the rubber recoil pad, complete with an underside monogram oval bearing the initials of original owner "F. L. Wanklyn."

Mechanically, the barrels lock up tight on the face, with the automatic safety and extractors functioning smoothly and precisely. The firearm comes complete in an original wood and canvas maker's case displaying the name "F. L. Wanklyn" across the front.
