Manufactured in the United Kingdom in 1948 and retailed by the respected London outfitter B. Halliday & Co., this 12-gauge Boxlock Ejector represents quintessential British gunmaking. Built for quick handling and refined balance in the field, the design reflects the high standard of bespoke commission firearms long associated with Halliday's historic Cannon Street address.

This particular piece is preserved in excellent overall condition, exhibiting intact receiver bluing and well-preserved barrel finish with only a faint handling mark on the right tube, paired with a straight English walnut stock displaying sharp checkering and minimal cosmetic scuffing. Configured with 25-inch barrels, 2 ½-inch chambers, and a gold bead foresight atop the solid parallel rib, it balances effortlessly at an agile 5 lbs 14 ⅕ oz with a 14 ½-inch length of pull terminating in a fitted rubber butt pad.

Mechanically, the action locks up smoothly and tightly, functioning with crisp double triggers, dependable ejectors, and an automatic safety. Retaining its factory-fixed Full and Improved Cylinder chokes, this C&R-eligible game gun is thoroughly prepared for traditional upland service.
