W. J. Jeffery & Co Top Lever Hammergun, 12 Ga, 30" Barrels
Crafted in the United Kingdom in 1912, this classic 12-gauge top lever hammergun exemplifies the refined balance and distinguished heritage of early twentieth-century British gunmaking. Built with 30-inch side-by-side barrels chambered for 2 ¾-inch cartridges and fitted with a solid tapered rib, it represents an elegant and versatile choice for the traditional shooting enthusiast.
This unit presents in very good condition, exhibiting beautifully detailed engraving across the action while retaining nearly all of its lustrous bluing. The straight-hand stock is carved from English walnut boasting a deep, dark color under a smooth varnish finish, tailored to a 14 ⅛-inch length of pull.
Mechanically sound, the action closes up tight and functions smoothly with double triggers and manual extractors. Completing this fine package, the gun is presented as a complete set housed in an authentic wood & canvas case with the maker's label displayed inside the lid.
