Crafted in Italy, the Beretta 686 Special embodies the celebrated balance and mechanical excellence that have made the 680 series an enduring benchmark among over-and-under shotguns. Engineered with a low-profile receiver and superior swing dynamics, this 12-gauge platform delivers an instinctive point of aim tailored for versatile shooting pursuits.

This 1985 production piece is in very good condition, retaining 100% of its rich barrel bluing alongside a finely finished frame adorned with a tasteful combination of English rose and scroll engravings. The pistol-grip walnut stock displays honest handling marks appropriate for its vintage, while the 28-inch barrels remain clean with light surface marks and a slight, localized dent on the ventilated parallel rib.

The action opens effortlessly, the selective automatic safety engages positively, and the ejectors fire with strong, authoritative timing. Fitted with its original factory-issued Beretta butt plate delivering a 14 ½-inch length of pull, this shotgun is patterned with fixed Modified and Improved Modified chokes for proven ballistic consistency.
