Antique W.W. Greener .410 Hammer gun

$1,495.00
.410 Ga & 2 ½" Chamber | Full Choke & 26" Barrel | Wood & Fabric Case

Manufactured in the United Kingdom in 1878, this antique W.W. Greener single-barrel side-lever hammer gun reflects the renowned British maker's enduring heritage of mechanical ingenuity and bespoke craftsmanship. Likely beginning its life as a classic Victorian rook rifle, this versatile firearm embodies the functional elegance and exacting hand-fitting that defined late-nineteenth-century Birmingham gunmaking.

Today, this piece presents in fine antique condition, featuring a 26-inch Full-choked barrel proofed for 2 ½-inch nitro cartridges paired with a pistol grip wood stock providing a 14 ¼-inch length of pull. A previously excised ½-inch section of the buttstock has been professionally reattached beneath the original metal buttplate, seamlessly restoring the piece's proper dimensions while honoring its original components.

The firearm is complemented by what appears to be its original wood & fabric case, retaining the maker's historic interior trade label. Mechanically sound and reassuring in hand, the side-lever action locks up tight on the breech and operates with smooth, deliberate precision.
