Crafted in Austria, the Steyr Hunter reflects the maker’s celebrated heritage of precision engineering, delivering dependable performance and match-grade accuracy in a refined bolt-action platform. Purpose-built as an agile sporting rifle chambered in .222 Remington, it showcases Steyr’s distinctive cold-hammer-forged barrel alongside enduring European craftsmanship.

This 2009 example presents in very good overall condition, displaying only minor, purely cosmetic surface scuffs and small marks across the synthetic polymer stock. Featuring a traditional pistol grip and a neutral profile without a raised cheekpiece, the stock offers an ergonomic, comfortable hold suited for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The rifle comes equipped with a detachable box magazine for effortless loading and field convenience. Mechanically, Steyr’s renowned bolt action operates with signature fluidity, cycling seamlessly and locking into battery with vault-tight precision.
