Crafted in 1969 within the renowned gunmaking center of Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, this Gardone VT Trap over-and-under shotgun represents a distinguished heritage of dedicated competition firearms. Built specifically for clay target disciplines, it features a 30-inch barrel profile topped with an 11 ½mm to 10mm ventilated tapered rib engineered for balanced swing dynamics and precise target alignment.

This specific unit presents in excellent condition, accented by fine scroll engraving across the receiver alongside expected handling marks on the wood stock, which is equipped with a right-hand palm swell, a raised cheekpiece, and a rubber recoil pad. The 30-inch barrels retain 100% of their deep bluing with only a small surface scratch on the right side, accompanied by a traditional brass front bead and a 1 ⅜-inch drop at the second comb.

Mechanically, the action locks up tight, with the single trigger selecting properly and the automatic ejectors functioning crisply. Bored with fixed chokes measuring Full in the bottom barrel and Cylinder in the top for 2 ¾-inch chambers, this vintage Italian shotgun is C&R eligible and fully prepared for the sporting range.
