Gorgeous antique Thomas Bland sideplate side by side for sale. Varnished English walnut wood is in very good condition for its age with only a few surface marks but not diminishing the beauty of the gun in any way. Checkering on stock and fore-end still nice and crisp. Absolutely stunning Damascus barrels with pattern showing through very evidently. Top rib engraving reads "T. Bland & Sons 430 West Strand London". Lovely scroll engraving over receiver and fence. Brass bead sight. Carved wooden butt plate with sharp checkering. Smooth break action.
